Emery - Dec Post - More Expressions

Hi gang - Here is my last post for this month...I've been looking at this tree for months when I'm in the yard. I feel like eyes are on me.
Basically I need help with my exposures. Since I got my DSLR a few months ago, I just have not been happy with the colors. I just feel that it is washed out. Hope someone can offer advice at tonite's meeting

Expressions - Tree People

Dec 7th Post for Ashley

Here's Ashley's first posting. The first one is pine needles in a tree behind my Dad's house. Taken at 3pm; speed 1/500s; aperture: f/4; ISO-1600

This is my cat Henry. Finally got him to sit still and pose under the Christmas tree. But he has demon eyes! Speed 1/60s; aperture: f/3.5; ISO-80.
