Hallowe'en faces

Halloween 2010...

Halloween Ghouls

Windham NH - Halloween Eve, finally got the flash off the  camera,  placed it on the ground in front of the kids to create a creepy shadow.  I would of loved to try and get a few more shots but the kids scattered right after this photo was taken...

JG the Dog and the Devil Dog

Taking photo's of the dogs at night was a trick, getting the exposure, the flash and the dogs to corporate proved to be a huge challenge,  I like the way that this one came out...

Emery - November 2010 Assignment

This month's theme is something to do with Fall...Leaves, Turkey's, Halloween, etc: Whatever strikes you as picture worthy...

Fall Morning on Winnisquam

I was heading to work down Union Ave at 8am one morning, and looked out on Winnisquam. Had to quickly go over to the Belmont beach...Ignored the "Keep out between 9PM and 9AM" signs..Ignored the "Belmont Residents Only" signs, and the "No Trespassing" signs. Had to catch this view looking over towards Sanbornton...Lots of fall colors, lots of fog...Really cool!
This was taken with a wide angle lens, 1/200s exposure, Aperture f/5.6, and ISO 200.

Stacked for Winter
A sure sign of the coming winter...Picnic benches stacked up at Gilford Beach...Summer came and went all to quickly. Exposure 1/100s; Aperture f/6.3; ISO 200

Whole Lotta Leaves

My work is never done...Exposure: 1/5s ; Aperture: f/18 ; ISO: 100

Gilford Village Scene
View of hill behind Gilford Village. Taken with Zoom lens about 1 mile away on Labonte Rd.
Exposure: 1/250s; Aperture: f/5.6; ISO: 320

Sun Flare Assignment - Emery

Caught this Seagull checking out the sunrise right before I went golfing at Pheasant Ridge

I think God was blessing my clubs this morning...

Beautiful Sun flare over Lake Michigan during recent trip to Holland, MI.

Beautiful image for a morning wedding on Sanibel Island

California/Arizona Time Lapse

I thought that everyone would get a kick out of this, it is all shot with individual still photos then put together to create the footage that you see here!

August Photo Challenge - Events and Sun Flare

Gilford Clickers, this month's photo challenge is to capture a sun flare in an event photo. The event could be the Pittsfield Hot Air Balloon rally, a wedding, a backyard BBQ. The event is up to you, but at least one photo should attempt to capture a sun flare.

Turkey Jim's Bridge - Campton, NH

1st Photo taken with Flash at 7:16 pm.

Exposure: 1/60s; f-stop: 3.2; focal length: 10mm; max Aperature: 3.34.

2nd Photo taken without Flash at 7:16 pm.

Exposure 1/8s; f-stop: 3.2; focal length: 10mm; max Aperature: 3.34.
Without the flash, the actual bridge comes out of hiding, as do the 2 people on the right of the bridge.

3rd Photo taken with Flash at 7:20 pm.

Exposure: 1/60s; f-stop: 3.2; focal length: 8mm; max Aperature: 3.34.
Slightly different vantage point using a wide angle lens. I wanted to get more of the water in view to set up my next picture.

4th Photo taken without Flash at 7:21 pm.

Exposure: 2 sec; f-stop: 8; focal length: 8mm; max Aperature: 3.34.
I was trying to get blur on the rushing water. I was messing around with that all week, and realize that I really do need to get a new camera as my F-stop only goes up to 8. but it was still cool.
