MUD! Honestly I did not see a lot of mud out and about. Just on the hiking trails. I thought it would be more fun to have the kids make mud and play in it. I was right. They had fun!
Both photos are taken with my 70-300 mm telephoto lens. Settings were 1/250s, f8 and ISO very low.
Set up shot. Had the kids place the ball in front of me so I could manually focus on the ball. Had my shutter release set to high so I could take multiple shots with one press. Took quite a few shots but I liked this one best. This is with my 50mm set at f8 with a shutter speed of 1/250. The ISO was set as low as I could get it.
I was going for simplicity here. Dandelions, the flower only a mother can love. I get a new bouquet just about every day now and it never fails to make me smile. Settings were ISO 400, 1/125s, f5.6. I also added a little softness in Picnik.
Hi guys - not sure if you have seen this on my Facebook or not. William Neill is one of my favorite photographers, after having discovered him in Outdoor Photographer a couple of years ago.
He currently has ebooks available at his website for $5 each and 4 for $12. Not sure how long the sale will be available. They are beautiful and inspirational. I've bought them all and highly recommend them. If interested go to : http://www.williamneill.com/store/ebooks/index.html
Hi folks, At our Next meeting on May 3rd at 6:30pm, Dave Cushing from Ritz Camera in Belmont, will be presenting a program called "Photography Fundamentals". He will also be bringing some photobook samples and discount coupons. Should be a very interesting meeting. See you there!
It was a really good experience this past weekend at the fair. I was really nervous leading up to it but it worked out fine. Met some great people - both Vendors and customers. Sold a bunch of pictures which was a real thrill. I told a few people about the club and they seemed very interested. Hopefully we'll have some new faces at the next meeting. (not that there is anything wrong with the faces we have now! heh heh)
Here's what my both looked like:
If anyone is interested in future shows, here is a link to the promoter that handles local shows: http://www.joycescraftshows.com/

Hey everyone! A good friend of mine is the Art Director at PetSmart, she just used one of my photos of JG the Dog to announce a pet photo contest they are running on facebook! Click HERE to see! Anyway looking at the contest itself it maybe a great opportunity for fellow Clickers to win some cool stuff!?
Hi clickers. Kevin sent me this link to a picture in todays Laconia Citizen. As a follow-up to our meeting this past Tuesday, Kevin would be interested in seeing what people might suggest to make it a better photograph. Click on the link and add your suggstions below in the comments area.
Opposing forces. An oldie, but one of my favorite shots. A well placed chip over the snow and a run to the hole. 2 opposing forces here...Golfing in the snow, and competing against my son Jordan, on the other side of the green.
